H2 Poland 2026 – hydrogen at the center of the energy transition

On March 25, 2026, representatives of the Future Solutions Research and Development Center participated in H2 Poland 2026.

During the event, current directions of hydrogen market development were discussed – both in regulatory and technological contexts. Particular attention was given to the integration of hydrogen with renewable energy sources, its role in balancing energy systems, and its importance in building local, distributed energy markets.

However, the participation of CBR Future Solutions was not only observational, but primarily operational.

During the event, working meetings were held with representatives of MMB Drives sp. z o.o., including Prof. Zbigniew Krzemiński, regarding the application of an active voltage regulator and the possibilities of its certification and implementation in cluster installations at the municipal level. Solutions of this type constitute an important element in stabilizing local energy systems, especially under conditions of a growing share of renewable energy sources.

At the same time, discussions were conducted with technology entities regarding hydrogen storage methods and their practical implementation in infrastructure projects.

An important part of the day also included meetings with the hydrogen technology advisor within the ECM ecosystem – Konrad Han – and investment partners, during which the possibilities of implementing projects exceeding 140 MW were analyzed.

In this context, a clear market trend is emerging, in which investors begin project and documentation processes even before obtaining formal grid connection conditions. In such cases, key solutions are based on local energy balancing models, including the concept of energy islands, enabling independent operation of systems based on their own infrastructure.

For CBR Future Solutions, participation in H2 Poland 2026 was an important element of further development of projects related to distributed energy and the implementation of hydrogen technologies within the energy ecosystem. The event also provided a space for the exchange of experience with representatives of the industrial, scientific, and institutional sectors, as well as participation in panels and expert sessions dedicated to the future of the energy market.

In the context of ongoing projects, directions related to the use of hydrogen as a balancing element for local energy systems remain particularly important, directly aligning with the development of modern energy cluster models.

Participation in events such as H2 Poland confirms the growing importance of hydrogen technologies as one of the pillars of the energy transition and the direction in which CBR Future Solutions’ research and implementation activities are consistently developing.
