Rymań Energy Cluster – a milestone-driven approach to building a local energy market
The signing of the Letter of Intent on February 10, 2026, between the Municipality of Rymań, the Future Solutions Research and Development Center, and ECM marks the beginning of cooperation aimed at establishing an Energy Cluster.
The project is being carried out as a structured process, in which subsequent stages lead from analysis to the development of a target operational model for the cluster.
A key element of this approach is the definition of milestones, covering both the scope of conceptual work and further organisational and business decisions related to the functioning of the cluster.
At this stage, activities focus on assessing the region’s potential and evaluating possible development paths, including solutions based on renewable energy sources and hydrogen technologies.
In parallel, work is underway to define cooperation principles between cluster participants, business relationships, and the assumptions for energy management and settlement.
The adopted model assumes a step-by-step progression — from analysis and concept development, through organisational structuring, to preparation for the conclusion of a cluster agreement.
The Rymań Energy Cluster represents an example of a project in which the development of a local energy market is based on a sequential and controlled decision-making process.
