The Choczewo Energy Cluster
The Choczewo Energy Cluster is a project at an advanced stage of preparation, based on a comprehensive concept of a local energy market developed in cooperation with technological partners and the local government. The concept document has been finalized and is currently the subject of working consultations and analyses with the authorities of the Municipality of Choczewo.
The project addresses the specific conditions of the region by integrating local renewable energy sources, seasonal variability in energy demand, municipal infrastructure, and future challenges related to the development of strategic energy investments. The cluster is intended to serve as a tool supporting energy security, energy cost stabilization, and the long-term economic development of the municipality.
In accordance with the adopted concept, ECM and the Future Solutions Research and Development Center will play a key role in the structure of the cluster. These entities will be responsible for delivering and implementing advanced digital tools, including the e-Vision energy management system, covering telemetry, real-time balancing and monitoring, as well as the ECM settlement system, based on DLT technology, enabling transparent and efficient energy settlements between cluster participants.
The application of these solutions aims to create a coherent, digitally managed energy ecosystem capable of integrating multiple generation sources, consumers, and prosumers, while ensuring operational and economic transparency. The Choczewo Energy Cluster represents a mature approach to distributed energy, in which technology, local government, and the community jointly build a modern model of a local energy market.
