R&D Future Solutions has formally joined the Clean Energy Cluster in Rumia through the signing of a membership declaration on May 8, 2026, initiating the procedure of entering the cluster structure as one of its participants.
The initiative is being developed within the jointly built ECM ecosystem, integrating technological solutions, energy management, and the development of modern distributed energy models. As part of this framework, R&D Future Solutions joined the cluster structure to support technological development and the integration of the local energy environment.
The cluster is being developed based on activities initiated under the “RUMIA 72h Energy and Water Security Cluster” project, aimed at building a model of energy and infrastructure security for the city, enabling key systems to operate even under crisis conditions. The project was initiated by the Municipality of Rumia, Rumia Invest Park, and the Gdynia Maritime University.
The current stage of work focuses on the further development of the cluster structure and the creation of a modern distributed energy environment based on data integration, infrastructure monitoring, and solutions supporting local energy security.
Within the activities carried out as part of the cluster structure, R&D Future Solutions is responsible for telemetry, acquisition and analysis of real measurement data, monitoring of energy infrastructure, and solutions supporting the management of energy flows within the local energy system.
The developed model assumes the gradual integration of various energy sources, the expansion of distributed energy infrastructure, and the development of local technological competencies supporting the city’s further energy transformation.
