On August 20, 2025, Chojnice joined the ranks of cities investing in energy independence. The work on the Energy Cluster concept was completed and officially handed over to the city authorities. This is already the second such project in the region—just a few days earlier, the cluster concept was presented in Władysławowo. Both local governments are laying a solid foundation for a regional energy transition that is expanding in scope and gaining strategic importance.
For Chojnice, the Energy Cluster means not only access to cheaper and more secure energy but also a path toward greater independence, improved investment attractiveness, and building a competitive advantage based on modern and sustainable solutions. Adopting this model places the city among the most ambitious municipalities that are actively preparing for the challenges of the energy transition.
Władysławowo has shown that local energy can become a driver of development. Chojnice adds its own strength and momentum to this story, enhancing the potential for transformation whose significance extends beyond regional borders. This demonstrates that the future of energy is shaped not only at the national or European level but, above all, where local decisions are made and concrete solutions are implemented.
The Energy Cluster concept in Chojnice is not a single project but a strategic step toward making the region a leader in the green transition.
