We have just concluded a remarkable ECM ecosystem meeting — an event of both strategic and symbolic significance. It was far more than a training session or a workshop. It became a moment of conscious reflection and recognition of the individuals and institutions whose decisions and consistent actions are genuinely shaping local energy transition in Poland.
The ECM Awards presented during the meeting were not competitive in nature. They represented recognition of a measurable, long-term contribution to the development of energy clusters and stable, responsibly designed local energy systems. They served as a symbolic confirmation of leadership, accountability, and consistency in action.

🏅 Marcin Nowak – President of the Management Board, Nowatermia
ECM Award for the Foundations of Local Energy Systems
for his key contribution to the development of thermal energy solutions within the ECM ecosystem’s energy clusters — an area fundamental to system stability, energy security, and long-term planning of local solutions.
🏛️ Mayor of the City of Chojnice
ECM Award – Local Government Leader of the Energy Transition
(Development of the Chojnice Energy Cluster, 2025)
for municipal leadership, consistency in implementation, and genuine commitment to the development of the Chojnice Energy Cluster.
An integral part of the meeting was also substantive work on clear and accessible communication of the ECM ecosystem, led by Tomasz Majewski — ECM Advisor, co-owner of Catman Consulting / Simplexity, and an experienced expert in management and business relationship development.
Once again, this event confirmed that the ECM ecosystem is built not only on projects and technologies, but above all on people, responsible decisions, and long-term cooperation, which collectively set the direction for the development of local energy systems.
