The authorities of Władysławowo and the Future Solutions Research and Development Center, in partnership with key business entities, have signed a letter of intent regarding the establishment of the Władysławowo Energy Cluster. The jointly implemented project has the potential to become one of the most innovative energy solutions not only in Poland but also on the European stage. The cluster will promote renewable energy sources (RES) and advanced energy technologies, paving the way for sustainable development and decarbonization of the region.
Innovative solutions on a European scale.
The Władysławowo Energy Cluster stands out with its comprehensive approach to energy – by integrating local energy resources, businesses, and communities, it will become a pioneer in the field of distributed prosumer energy. The use of modern technologies, such as BIPV, hydrogen systems, and CO2 capture installations, makes this project one of the most advanced energy initiatives in Europe.
The primary goals of the cluster are actions in the field of renewable energy and sustainable development. Specifically, these include:
• Diversification of energy sources and increased energy security through the development of local RES resources.
• Reduction of emissions through investments in green technologies and modern energy management and settlement systems.
• Innovation on a European scale – the implementation of hydrogen and RES technologies will make Władysławowo a leader in sustainable development.
• Promoting the region and creating an exemplary energy model for other cities in Europe.
• Setting the path for sustainable development – the phased development of the cluster and increasing its potential will enable the region to follow a path of sustainable development and reduce emissions cyclically.
Who is creating the Cluster?
Key partners have joined the initiative, including the Władysławowo Municipal Office, Abruko Ltd., Future Solutions Research and Development Center Ltd., Ekowik Ltd., and ECM Ltd. This collaboration will enable the effective implementation of solutions that will transform the region into an energy model of the future.
The schedule of activities foresees the completion of key conceptual work and the signing of the cluster agreement by the end of 2024. The application of advanced technologies utilizing RES, green hydrogen, and CO2 capture installations, along with the implementation of innovative IT systems, will enable the region to accelerate its energy transition. Through the establishment of the Energy Cluster, Władysławowo sets new standards for sustainable development and demonstrates that even small regions can have an impact on the green transformation in Europe.
