On October 30, 2024, representatives from the Choczewo Municipality, Future Solutions Research and Development Center, and ECM jointly signed a Letter of Intent, marking the beginning of cooperation to establish the Choczewo Energy Cluster! This initiative follows the Władysławowo project and is another collaborative effort between ECM, Future Solutions, and local authorities aimed at energy transformation, enhancing security, and setting shared goals for sustainable development.

The Choczewo Energy Cluster will be a modern entity focused on generating energy from renewable sources (RES), balancing, and storing energy in green hydrogen. The cluster’s operations will rely on advanced IT technologies. This initiative will significantly contribute to the decarbonization of the region and help reduce pollution emissions.

The signed document lays the foundation for the creation of the cluster, which, through the integration of local resources and partnerships, will support the goal of energy self-sufficiency. An important aspect of the initiative is also the diversification of energy sources, which will improve delivery stability and reduce costs for local consumers. The cluster is designed to be off-grid, with one of its main objectives being to accommodate additional renewable energy production units within the cluster.
