Władysławowo, September 17, 2024 – The authorities of Władysławowo and the Future Solutions Research and Development Center, in collaboration with key business entities, signed a letter of intent to establish the Władysławowo Energy Cluster. This project has the potential to become one of the most innovative energy solutions in Poland and even Europe. Its primary goal is to promote renewable energy sources (RES) and advanced energy technologies, paving the way for sustainable development and decarbonization of the region.

The Władysławowo Energy Cluster stands out for its comprehensive approach to energy. By integrating local energy resources, businesses, and communities, it has the chance to become a pioneer in decentralized prosumer energy. The project plans to implement the most advanced technologies such as BIPV, hydrogen systems, and CO2 capture installations, making it one of the most advanced projects of its kind in Europe.

The main goals of the cluster are:
• Diversification of energy sources and increased energy security through the development of local RES resources,
• Reduction of pollution emissions through investments in green technologies and modern energy management systems,
• Innovation on a European scale, including the implementation of hydrogen technologies,
• Promotion of the region and creation of a model energy system for other cities,
• Sustainable development, which involves the phased development of the cluster and cyclic reduction of the region’s emissions.

Key partners in this initiative include the Władysławowo City Hall, Abruko Ltd., the Future Solutions Research and Development Center Ltd., Ekowik Ltd., and ECM Ltd. The action schedule foresees the completion of conceptual work and the signing of the cluster agreement by the end of 2024.

The Władysławowo Energy Cluster project, through the use of RES, green hydrogen, CO2 capture technology, and innovative IT systems, has the potential to accelerate the energy transformation in the region. In doing so, Władysławowo sets new standards for sustainable development, proving that even smaller regions can play a key role in Europe’s green transformation.
