Building a modern energy system today requires much more than infrastructure alone. What becomes essential is a well-designed operational model capable of combining local energy resources, regional development potential and future challenges related to energy management.
On May 19, 2026, working workshops were held in Żarnowiec, Silesian Voivodeship, led by our R&DC Future Solutions team following the completion of work on the Energy Cluster Żarnowiec concept and its official handover to the municipality. The meeting summarized the analytical and conceptual phase and formed part of the next steps related to the development of the region’s local energy architecture.
The discussions focused on the analysis of the municipality’s energy potential, possibilities for integrating local infrastructure, development directions for renewable energy sources, and solutions supporting efficient energy balancing and management at the local level.
An important part of the discussions also concerned energy optimization of public infrastructure and solutions that, over the coming years, may have a real impact on reducing energy costs and improving the efficiency of municipal budget management.
The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss further directions for the development of energy solutions responding to the real needs of the local government and regional infrastructure.
