Green energy filled the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park during the Eco-On conference. During each edition, topics related to green transformation are discussed and this time was no different. Our speakers provided the audience with knowledge on smart energy, its advantages and challenges that must be overcome to achieve success in this industry.

The first to appear on stage was the vice-director of the Science and Technology Parks Department, Anna Różycka, who opened the event with a speech on the future of green technologies.

The first representative of the energy industry was Mariusz Paszkiewicz, CEO of INWEBIT. Mr. Mariusz presented solutions in the area of monitoring and implementing energy efficiency using AI and mathematical models. He also presented the company’s plans for future research and development (R&D) projects and discussed the challenges related to the implementation of the 0-export concept. 0-export are energy installations that, despite being physically connected to the grid, do not transmit energy to it, which creates technological and operational challenges.

The next speakers were Paweł Godlewski and Bartłomiej Błaziak from Altineo. The gentlemen pointed out the need for energy storage and the challenges that the industry must overcome to keep up with the growing popularity of photovoltaic installations. They presented their own solution, based on flow technology with vanadium electrolyte, the lifespan of which is three times longer than lithium-ion solutions.

Then Jakub Goryszewski, Chief Innovation Officer of the Future Solutions Research and Development Center, took the stage. Mr. Jakub presented the capabilities of the Molanote Laboratories and their value in introducing innovative solutions in the energy industry. He expanded on the topic of using AI in intelligent energy and indicated the direction in which we should be heading.

After three lectures, the participants went to a break, where they discussed the future of green transformation in the corridors.

After a coffee break, Damian Ściepko, Managing Director of EV Volta, presented the challenges related to charging heavy goods vehicles in conditions of limited connection capacity of the distribution network.

Bartłomiej Tuleja from Da Vinci Green Energy presented the possibilities of using AI in energy management, emphasizing the benefits of automation and optimization of energy processes.

In turn, Adrian Kajtek, Member of the Management Board of Energy On, discussed innovations in the use of renewable energy sources (RES) in multi-family buildings, pointing out the ecological and economic benefits of such solutions.
Mariusz Smentoch, President of the Management Board of Byotta, presented the Byotta Boost mobile power station with energy storage, which offers flexible and effective solutions for various energy applications.

The conference was concluded with workshops on financing green transformation, led by Mateusz Szulc from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. Participants learned about the possibilities of financing energy transformation of enterprises by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego from the European Funds for Modern Economy – FENG Ecological Credit, FENG Ekomax Guarantee.

The “Eco-On Intelligent Energy” conference was an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new contacts and gain knowledge on the latest trends and technologies in the field of energy. We would like to thank all participants for their active participation and invite you to the next editions!
