Today, a Letter of Intent was signed at the Choczewo Municipality Office regarding the establishment of the “Choczewo Energy Cluster.” The signatories of this document were the Choczewo Municipality, represented by the Mayor – Jarosław Bach, the Research and Development Center “Future Solutions” Ltd. from Gdańsk, represented by Jakub Goryszewski, and “ECM” Ltd., an ecosystem of distributed cluster energy, also from Gdańsk, represented by Bartłomiej Okoń…

The Choczewo Energy Cluster is a cooperation area for entities in various industries, including energy, thermal energy, gas, waste processing, and transport, research and development units, global distributed cluster systems, zero-emission green hydrogen production, local government units, and entities interested in purchasing electricity, heat, gas, cooling, or green hydrogen, as well as all other stakeholders whose activities may be related to the energy cluster’s goals.

The main objectives of the “Choczewo Energy Cluster” will be:

  • Promoting the region, especially the Choczewo Municipality, and establishing a path for the sustainable development of cluster agreement members.
  • Reducing the emissions of pollutants generated by cluster members through investments in renewable energy sources (RES), hydrogen technologies, and systems for managing and settling cluster processes,
  • Increasing energy security by diversifying energy production sources,
  • Developing RES with a particular focus on the development of distributed prosumer energy systems,
  • Ecological education in the field of RES,
  • Supporting innovative technologies for efficient energy management,
